Default 29 Fever - Bravo XR Old Style to Swept Style HELP!

Guys.. I am replacing my 2004 Bravo XR Old Style and maybe going to a new Swept Style Bravo XR.

- Will the existing Latham Steering mount up to the new style upper cap? Same mounting holes? Anything needed additionally?

The only thing same from old style to new is the actual top plate itself.

The rear mount, spacers & studs are different. Latham has all the part numbers on their site. might be better to sell your existing kit as a whole and buy the new one.

They are very, very proud of their stuff and dealing with them is a pain cause they only ship C.O.D. No cards accepted.

Call my buddy Troy at Supreme Marine in Ft Lauderdale, he sells Latham and can get you any part you need at a fair price. (954)797-1818 He's also a Mercruiser dealer as well so can tell you exactly what your going to need. Tell him J.R. sent you.

Decided to order a new old style Bravo XR from Mercury. Unfortunatly, there's a 3 week lead time to get it. Anybody know why it will take so long? Even the swept back style is on back order for 1 week...
