Default K plane settings?

Can anyone help me out with setting marks on the drive and tab indicators for running the boat level? I had my tab cables replaced and when the mechanic put the glass window back on he cracked it. They replaced it but I had marks on it from the previous owner that he didn't know about. I can feel the boat when I'm at like 75 to 80 but after that I am reacting rather than setting them for what they should be at at level. Its kinda scary until I get more comfortable with the higher speeds. My boat is a 39 Outerlimits Quatro with 525s in it if that makes any difference.

when you put new cables in you should re do the marks anyway. I just run a straight edge off the running surface and have someone up on the switches running them in and out till i am happy they are level then mark the panel. You may have to adjust the cables to have them show the same mark from side to side and keep in mind just because the drives and tabs are set level that does not mean thats where the boat runs level but its a good place to start.

i broke one of those on my Livorsi panel one time and i was surprised how easy it cracked, barley put any pressure on it at all.

Seriously consider calling me. Its certainly not just about the marks on your trim indicator.

Is the new plate numbered differently? Or did you just never pay attention to the numbers?
