Default What V Belts

I have a Gen 6 engine and can not find anywere that tells me what the length of the belts are or the width of them so that I can hit the local automotive store and pick them up. I have a engine Serial # K158585 and I need the alternator, Water pump, and power steering belts. If anyone has the length and width belts that would be on there I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks

Jon

Napa can cross the merc numbers if you can still read them on the belts. Or maybe get the merc numbers from one of the sites and call Napa. Sorry I cant help more but Im all Mark 4

I wish I had the old belts but they were tost, and one even flipped over in the groove. I got the motor from Tank in Cali and just need to get the belts set up correctly so that this motor is ready to drop in after I get my boat painted.

Jon,
I went to Pep bouys and bought 3 at a time. What a mistake.... Take a piece of line and wrap around the pulleys to get close and the buy 5 of each around that size...It'll save you the 6 trips I made to Manny, Moe, and Jacks Place......That is if you can't get a cross reference. BTW if the pulleys are the same as a Gen IV you need the thinner of the availble belts.....
