My 28 Sportcat, stock 502's, Stock 1.5 bravo 1's turning a set of 27 Hydromotives right out of the box, Best ever of 93.7 across Lake Pepin here in MN.
Fastest 32 I knew of was one with 500's and whipples, @ 106 and ran out of lake.
Second 28 Twin cat the Dr's owned back in 1999 heard they pushed high 130's
Fastest 34 I ever heard of was 96
Fastest Banshee was 115.4 gps and ran out of lake as well.

My 34 ran 106.2 on the computer. 108 GPS with twin 1000's. My 28 ran 88 with 871 540 SCI. 28 MCOB will run a lot better with a higher X and ITS.

What did you think about the -2 on your boat snapmorgan? Noticed you have it for sale. Did it not work as good as you thought? were you able to go up a prop size? Advantage 575,you are the man so far!!! Really beating myself up over putting forged internals in the 496HO with a whipple vs a big ci efi drop in & selling the 496HO. Its for sale on swap shop so I guess that will help me decide??? I think i pissed Raylar off on a post, I totally respect his opinion and his knowlage of the 496 engines and didnt mean to disrespect him, just quoted what he had sent me on an email.

The -2 worked great on the 27 that I bought it for. I have not tried it on the 28. I am having prop slip/ cavitation issues on the 28 and I think the -2 lower will probably make it worse.
575 what do you think about my 28MCOB. I am running about 20% slip with a 26B1 and can hear it caviating i think. It just doesn't hook up well. Doesn't respond well to trim, just wants to slip more. I think I am going to try a 5 blade , but don't know what pitch to try. I am just touching the rev limiter right now ith the 26 4 blade.
