Default Selling my 47 Competition Series Flat Deck - 1 of 3 - Poker Run Time!!!

Selling my 1993 47cs Flat Deck... I absolutely love this boat and have spent tons of time rebuilding it over the years... I hate to sell it but I bought a 2000 47 Lightning and will be using that as my primary boat.

My broker listed it up on Ebay... here is the LINK

Posted it up on ebay with a reserve price... somebody is going to get one heck of a deal.

I may consider trading it for some power. My Lightning needs three good motors or two big power motors... I'll also consider all other types of trades... cars, other boats, interesting stuff... you name it.

Thanks guys and let me know if you have any questions...

From your e-bay listing:

What do you mean by this comment? Are you selling your one of kind to keep your 47 junker?

Ahhhhh... I knew that was coming and I agree with you guys. I should have clarified on my initial post above. Those that know me understand that I have a love for Fountain boats... always have. The words on the ebay auction are NOT my own... My broker wrote up the listing.

I did talk to him about the comment vs. the Lightning and he said that some folks had compared 47 lightnings and SC models to the 47CS boat that I am selling thinking that all fountains are built the same. This one is TRI AXLE CLOTH , V-RESIN , FOAM CORE . VACUUM BAGGED + Kevlar Hull... a true custom build meant for high speed wave crushing.

I will give him a call tonight and encourage him to reword the auction... I think he was just getting upset from all the calls from guys that dont know anything about these boats... $10 in their pocket and a dream. You know how that goes...

I have three small kids so I am keeping the lightning... Absolutely a great boat. Killer family cruiser, beer can island runner, and poker run party boat. I will say though, if I did not have the kids... then trust me... I'd be throwing 1000hp motors in that Flat Deck, no question.

Thanks guys and sorry for the mix up.

Someone who is going to be interested in your CS will know exactly what they are getting an will never be confused by the 47 SC. Everyone who has to ask will be tire kickers or worse.

Your broker should take the harshness out of the ad and focus on the great boat that it is.

Good luck on the sale!

You might want to include some pics of the dash and the cabin.

Default Interior

Here is the one of the interior. The rest of the pictures are on ebay. I may have some cabin pics also... but I'll have to dig through the hard drive to find them.

The cuddy is bare... two bench seats on each side then a bed area in the center and that is it... basically sits under the center of the nose and then is blocked off after that. You could upholster it and use it as a 1/4 or half cuddy. Thanks and hope this helps.
