I work for a large automotive supplier (one of the biggest in the world) and I have heard nothing that supports this rumor. Usually I know about these things before the public.

Naaaahhhhh!
I work at the Kentucky Truck Plant where they are built, and I am happy to report that rumours of the big X's demise are greatly exaggerated. In fact, expect a new diesel in the next coupla years along with a new 5sp auto tranny. I think a major redesign/freshening is in the works too.
