Default 454 won't idle !!!!!!!

I replaced the rotor, cap, plugs,IAC,wires and the motor still stalls out when you start it, but once I get going full throttle is fine as soon as I slow down to idle motor stalls then is hard to start and you can smell gas???? Anyone have any other ideas?????? (MPI) just bought a new fuel pressure regulator gonna try it.

have you checked the fuel pressure with a gauge? not sure excatly what pressure you should see, but with the engine off turn the key on with the gauge connected and the pump should prime. gauge should read around 45 psi, maybe higher, when the pump stops the gauge may leak down, real slowly, but if it drops fairly quickly you have a stuck injector. if prime pressure is good and holds, try to start the engine. if you can get it started on the hose or in the water with a little throttle watch the gauge when you drop it to idle. it sounds like a lot, but its a 2 min test, and as long as the pressure stays within spec that will rule out the fuel system.

a quick google search says 41-45psi= good
