The boat is pretty sweet. I'd like one.

is that even a question to ask own a OL and say that again they are the best built v bottom boats out there hands down run one out in rough water and see a fountain or cig keep up with it or even the way the handle.. not to mention i dont ever see the owner of cig or reggie fountain at any of the poker runs standing behind there products. the saying you get what you pay for goes with outerlimits

29ft boat with a cuddy that runs 100MPH with a SINGLE 600 Merc? I would say its worth EVERY penny, show me ANY other V Hull that compares.

Yes, it's worth it. I've always had great respect for OL. I got to run with a 51 OL with big hp trips. I can just imagine what that monster cost new and costs to maintain & run.

Be curious to see how they compare size wise, but for about half the money and same speed, I'd go with this:

http://www.tuffmarine.com/Boat_Pages...28_inboard.htm

As for cuddy, doesn't look like there's much in either...

How's that Tuff gonna run a bit of a sea?
Looks great on that .5-1ft chop.

28ft Demo w/ twin 250XS running 91; asking 80k.

The OL is a nice piece for sure, and has its customer base just as the rest of the OL lineup has.

I have no idea what this "Infusion" hull is about, I know that OL use a cabon epoxy layup thats incredibly strong and light.

The Tuff looks pretty quick in flat water, but, appears to have less freeboard than the OL, I would have to see it run in some chop to form a more informed opinion

Personally, I would rather have the OL, but, thats just my 2 cents

For what its worth, I seen a "Tuff 21" I believe [might have been bigger?] at the Toronto boat show a few years ago, it was a nice boat, but, the rigging wasn't anywhere near as nice as OL.

But, as you say, its also 1/2 the price, some would argue that makes it a bargain, others that "you get what you pay for"

If your the guy writing the cheque, its only your opinion that really counts [-:

I think the most important point to the buyer of this boat will be , quality and performance . This in not a price shopper kind of deal IMO
