Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon pricing????
#1
The wife and I have been talking for weeks and were planning on test driving a couple small cars tomorrow and keeping our 2003 Suburban as an extra vehicle.......that all changed today.
She was coming home from out of state with our 3 kids and passed out from low blood sugar......ON THE INTERSTATE!!!! Truck went up into the median, literally through a couple 6-10 inch trees before rolling back down the hill into the highway. Incredibly they are all just fine with nothing more than a few scratches from broken glass, probably from climbing out through the windows (truck stopped rolling on it's side). The other vehicles got out of the way, stopped and helped them out (her credit cards and check book were also "helped right out of there" but that's of little concern). Her suburban is easily a total loss.
So, this make the decision to stay with a big vehicle easy and another Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon a must. For anyone that has bought one lately, what kind of discounts are you seeing???

Glad everyone is OK. The thief that robbed an accident scene should be shot. Good luck with truck shopping, there are good deals to be had. Make sure what you buy has side curtian air bags, big help in roll overs. And stability control can be a big deal.

Glad your family is ok. My wife has a 2002 Yukon and I feel good about the safety of it for sure. We've looked at new Yukons but they're 50 grand or more. I would look for a used 08-10 model and save some money. Good luck and keep your family in something big.

Don't buy new,,but one thats a year old,,some dealers offer a 1.9% financing,,let someone else take the 10 k hit on a new vehicle..apply the savings to a bumper to bumper gold gmpp extended warranty plan to 7yr 100k for about 2500.00.well worth it..
glad to hear the family are all ok..

Found a 2011 leftover. Rare Ice blue color my wife loved the first time she saw one. LT, 4x4, rear buckets (not our preference), 20in wheels, tow pkg: INV 49,100.....sell $41,600. Going to see it this afternoon, the salesman is an old boat salesman friend and assures me that's as low as the dealer will go. .......not sure if I want a 2 year old leftover though.
