I`m putting in AC and I`m after using the search feature I`m confused about the drains. I need to drain the condensate. I thought the drains in the V birth would drain all the way to the bilge? I don`t see any other thru hull fittting for another 2nd forward bilge pump, where does it drain to? Where is the bilge pump located ?
I poured two gallons in the drain and I have no clue where it went, didn`t seem to go in the bilge.

A lot of boat builders did a poor job of installing drains in forward bulkheads and putting in passages for water drainage under the gas tank. You may have to fish something through the drain going back towards the bilge to see if there is something obstructing the drain. I have a 10-foot boroscope that would work well for something like this, although I'm not sure I would want to see what mine looks like, being that it is a 30 year old boat!

on my 98 272 the pvc pipe they used to go thru the bulk head was glassed over i had to cut a small hole in the cuddy floor to be able to drive something thru the pipe to break the fiberglass open so the water would drain it was all the way up to the carpet in my cuddy at one time nothing like soggy floors and this sure didnt help my stringer issues any either

If the 33 is the same as my 36, then the water goes to a small area under the steps, where there should be a small bilge pump. It does not go all the way back to the engine area. My question is, if it did go back there, why would you want to put water in there ??? Find the correct fitting and dump it out thru the side of the hull, kinda the same way the sink water goes out. Or you could build a small tank near the unit and use a small pump to pump it out when full.

You said condensator so i assume thats what your talking about and not the seawater discharge from the ac unit? I put AC in my old Baja 260 and with the Mermaid unit i installed, the Condensator hose was inline with the ac water out hose, so it discharged out the thru hull drain. Don't know if it would work on yours but here's the link: Condensator

Condensation is what I~m concerned about, the discharge seawater is going out the side of the hull.
I like that CONDENSATOR thou. Thanx firehill I`ll use that if the water doesn`t drain.

I agree find another method. My 36 front bilge did a crap job of pumping the water out. The sharp degree of the V in that area keeps the pump from getting the last 3 gallons or so out, it would get smelly rather quick.

Well I know my answer, I put a hose down one of the drains and it just filled up all 3 drains.. so those drains go nowhere and theres no bilge pump on the 33ol.
shop vac was pretty full.
