I am doing some research on SV 29 and Merc new 565. If I am correct one SV 29 is delivered with this set up. Do anyone know about performance? I am in particular interested in MPG at cruisespeed 50 and 60 mph.

According to Merc the new Nordic 24SX is close to 5 mpg at 60 mph, and top speed is 100 mph. SV 29 should run approx 95 mph, so MPG at cruise should be close to the Nordic 24SX.

Its amazing performance for a single hull to run 95 mph with 565 hp, and in excess of 100 mph with a single 600 hp engine. To compare, a Hydrolift 24 twin step hull from Norway (great boats) real speed numbers are 82 mph with the same horsepower...

The Tuff 28 ran 95.5 with a single 525 all stock.

Thanks. I remember now. Phantom 29 is also fast, approx 100 with twin 300 xs outboards. But I am checking out SV 29

The SV29 with a Mercury 565 ran 98mph on the limiter here at the factory. Cruising at 60-70mph is right around 3.5mpg.
