Anyone know of a portable truck lift system so it's easier to work on! Don't have room in my shop for a lift......so I was thinking of the portable kind. The only ones I can find are for Fire trucks or semi's!!!!!! Don't need it that big....just something that can lift a Chevrolet 3500 dually. Any ideas?????

I have one at my shop..........think it's 9000 lb capacity, 4 post drive on, a crew cab dually fits on it, and it has a wheeled dolly for each corner so when you install them and lower it the lift can be rolled around the shop. It's still pretty big, but not semi truck/school bus big. It's 110V so it plugs in with a regular cord and is just big enough to fit and lift my F550 crew cab 4x4. Don't remember what brand but I'll try to remember, look tomorrow, and send you the info.

Just went out in the shop to look at the lift. It is in fact a 9000lb capacity. Serial number tag says Model #PP9 and the only manufacturer info on there is RL Consolidated Inc. I remember that I got in around 2004/05 from a place out near Indianapolis. Ordered it at the PRI show back when they had it in Indy and the company I bought it from was also located in that area. Got the impression that they sold a ton of this stuff. Took a few weeks to get, came on a truck, we assembled it ourselves.
Also, you sure that the Chevy cc dually actually weighs 12-13k? Seems like alot. Like I said, I know my F550 cc dually pickup conversion with 19.5 wheels and tires, ginormous brakes, Dana 135 rear axle, etc weighs around 9000 empty.

With that said........would you guys be comfortable with a 12K lift?????? There just isn't a lot of "wiggle room" with the 12K max load........ and obviously you if that thing fails, you're dead!
