Im getting close to being able to install my motors into my project boat and dont know what I need to hook the motors to the two bravo outdrives. Do I need couplers and bellhousings or just couplers?

Yes I can see the coupler #20, the bellhousing #28 but what is #24? And what purpose do the parts serve? Buy the way thanks for taking the time to get me the link to help me with this.

I am a newbie at this and am not 100% sure about your particular set-up. On mine there is just the coupler assembly - no transmission, etc. I just figured if I keep throwing **** at the wall someone will come in here and speak up. And they love pictures - so I was trying to give them something to work with.

Perfect idea!!! And I like to hear that your setup is just the coupler. That is alot less money for me and that is a good thing.lol... I think I will just try the couplers I have look at two of my friends boat and they didn't have the bellhousing. If anyone thinks I should go a different direction let me know. Thanks for your help Port Monster.

you'll need a coupler and bell housing for the bravo 1 installation along with the bolts that secure the bell housing to the transom plate. While your at it you might as well get and alignment tool or barrow one.

Their showing 2 different couplers you could use. You would want #24 for a Bravo. You MUST have the bell housing #28 and all related hardware. Splines on the drive will plug in to the coupler #24. Bellhousing #28 supports the rear of the engine.
