Out last night and while ideling to the dock the motor just died. Tried to restart and you could here it try to fire a couple of times and then nothing now.
I borrowed a coil from a friend and no luck. Replaced the pickup in the distributer and still nothing.
Started checking ignition module, 11.8 volts at the + on the coil. Pulled the WHITE/RED wire from the module and only get 10.4 volts.
So do i need a new ignition module? it is a thunderbolt v!
I called around and no one has one in stock, and im leaving wed for loto.
If i half to i will go get a msd box and distributer so i dont have to chance the module not getting here in time.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Had the Exact same issue last Friday. Installed MSD 6al, distributer and coil. Working great now. My Thunderbolt will be on EBay shortly !! lol
I also borrowed another Module from a buddy to make sure it was the issue. $300 so I went with the MSD set up instead
