Friends...Gonna be up there with about a 3-4 boat crew,... a mostly yellow 32' A/T w/SC556cid named Severe Turbulance, 40' Profile w/SC540cid, a 35' Nordic, and possibly a 32' Skater w/tripp OB's,.....will be hanging out on Torch Lake most of the time---Saturday for sure all day, but may do some boating on GrndTrvsBay out of Elk Rapids on Sunday or Monday.

If you see us wave hello or come over and talk to us---we will also have a Pontoon boat rental.

Where do you launch with the big boats, it will be our first time on the lake. I have a red IMO with 540 in it and friend has 38 PQ with 525s. Getting there Saturday morning sometime and still unsure where to launch

Of note, water patrol is cracking down on noise on Torch. I was told by a deputy this year it will be warnings and next year tickets. Point is, plan to be pulled over if your loud.

Luhrs landing said they can handle a 38 at there launch, which is just down the river.

Hit Torch Saturday and East Bay Sunday. Perfect weather and that 20 mph wind that kicked up out of the North on Saturday made for the best ride of the year on Torch!

Looks like it was another great week end for you guys.
This is the first year since I can remember that we did not make it to Torch even once. Its always a good trip.

Made it down to Torch Sunday, 3rd time this year, had not been there for three years prior to this year. Had a great time each time with awesome weather! The only bright side of the 38 going down was the getting out with the dingy to the other lakes this summer!
