Congratulations Jim!!!! Jim has spent countless hrs in set up and testing, work has paid off. I believe Diamond Marine may have massaged his motors, not sure, his Skater has Always been on the fast side, I believe his unofficial top speed is 126+

I work with Jim and know him and his boat well. Jim's powerheads are stock. The only modifications to the motors are Wayne Taylor mids. As Steve said, he has spent countless hours testing and tweaking the boat to achieve his top speed, which is 127.3 mph on radar (at one of the past hot toddy runs I beleive). It's all the little cumulative tweaks he has made to the boat and the set up over the years which have added up to that top speed. I wanted to set the record straight because I have personally heard people say that he must have modified the powerheads to achieve that speed.
