Has anyone ever lost their engine hatch?
Mine blew off doing only 70 on lake Mi. Got lucky and was able to retrieve it. The actuator pulled lose. I never liked how it was attached and planed on doing some thing different.
Has anyone ever added a hood latch of some kind to secure hold down the front??

Mine didn't come off but it blew open @ 72mph. I gotta say fiberglass is really tough. I couldn't believe it
hung on. It messed up my pipes and splintered some. It was my fault my actuator locked up and I unhooked it. I thought it was too heavy to blow open...Wrong
