I just got a Teague Drive shower for my XR drive. The top mount is obvious but the water pick up that mounts on the cavitation plate is my question? Does it make any difference as to which side on single engine application,and how far from the end and side of the plate?

If a right hand prop, I would mount on the port side about an inch from the back of the plate. My .02



Make sure you torque the top cover bolts to the proper setting btw.
