I'm posting this up here to let everyone know what kind of a douchebag is selling this boat Brian from long island ny with the 1997 30 spectre this boat has been on eBay I can't count how many times and hasn't sold and posted everywhere else. After a long time of going back and forth and speaking to him he emails me and says bring the money which was 30,000 I speak to him make arrangements to come out to see the boat which mind you is a 4 1/2 hour trip each way plus gas and tolls. I get out there and he is telling me about the boat while I'm looking it over and mind you there is a puddle of motor oil laying on the intake manifold he tells me oh no big deal its wd40 Lmfao I look at him and say more like the distributor seal but no big deal easy fix right? So I ask are we ready to put it in the water and sea trial it the guy says to me before we waste eachothers time we need to come to a price I look at him and say we spoke about this 30,000 as agreed when u told me to come get it. This ******* says to me oh I thought u kidding I won't take anything less than 45,000 otherwise I'm not selling it. I look him straight in his face and said u put it eBay over and over and over again its NEVER went past 32,000 on there which I honestly feel he has someone bidding it up to cause mostly the other times it was less than 30 grand on there. Plus when I leave this loser puts it back on eBay for 27,000 starting bid. To sum it up after the 15 mins while he was boasting about the boat and walking all over his seats which mind u were torn on the seams from his goofy ass walking all over them he doesn't have the boat dialed in with the new combination and it has a oil puddle sitting on the intake manifold and stress cracks along the back transom above the drives and water sitting in the gunnels in the cockpit I'm sure there is more but I did.t even go any further after that whole scenario needless to say the boats not worth 45 grand so don't waste ur time and his word as a man is worth of **** I'm saving someone their time etc not to deal with this guy.
