My rig jumped off the trailer a bit prematurely and as it slid down the boat launch it slightly "dog eared" one of the blades on my Solas SS Titan prop. (please don't lecture on my stupidity, I feel bad enough about this :-) )

It bent the tip of that one blade somewhere between a 1/16 to 1/8". I know I am going to need to send it to a prop guy to properly fix, but it's labor day weekend and I am wondering if there is a way I can roughly bend it back. I tried putting a wooden carpentry clamp on it to straighten it out a bit, but the SS is a but much for this clamp.

Are there any tricks/techniques to bend it back a bit? Worse case I throw my old VP prop on. I sure am glad I didn't have a cast prop, this would have completely tuned the day :-)

You can use a couple of hammers (preferably brass) to reshape it but it will be unbalanced & could cause further damage. One hammer to hit it & the other as a backboard, Ive done it although im not proud of it but on the missouri river ya take that chance sometimes. Randy

Could do this. Id put my spare on to get by. Heat and hammers cant be a good combination for any prop unless its in a pinch. How are the skegs?

Skegs are fine. The Titan is a 15 3/4? and is arguably oversized for this and as such it took the hit....better to damage the prop than out drive :-)

Heat and a BFH (big freakin hammer) see my thread from Friday. I really messed up my prop and prop shaft. But since it is a holiday weekend, out came the hammer.... I included before and after pics.

It is one blade tip bent 1/16 - 1/8"

as mentioned, I have another prop, so I am not looking for a move that could cause more damage.I just need to be able to put a slight bend back into one of the blades.

If it is that small of a bend you should be able to bend it back & go to town. Have a fun & safe weekend, Im goin boatin! Randy

If it's just the tip bent, an adjustable wrench will work, or you can use your trailer hitch ball as an anvil and beat it with a hammer.
