Thumbs up NJPPC Labor Day Run Photos

How many more events this year am I going to end up shooting under cloudy skies ?
This has got to be one of the worst summers yet in so many ways .... Many events being canceled for various reasons, weather not cooperating, and that is just on the photography end. This year has put many people in the hospital let alone the losses endured. I hate to say it, but this season can't come to an end soon enough...

On a better note, we had 13 boats meet up for the Run yesterday. Unfortunately the weatherman was completely wrong and we had no sun and some actually got wet for the ride home. Bottom line though, everyone still had a great time !

We had a new destination called Breezes Bar & Grill at the Viking Yacht Facility. It was a blast returning to the Mullica River which I haven't been back to since I had my 19ft Laser.

Running though the narrows is always a blast.

I shot enough photos on the way down that there was no need to shoot anything more on the return trip. Therefore the owner, customer and a great friend that owns an Outerlimits with twin 700 Mercury Engines put me on the throttles for the ride back.

We caught some air in a few spots which allowed for me to see if I still had a throttle arm.

I felt a few rain drops and then it was time to run a bit harder to outrun the showers that were coming through. Mission accomplished .

Enjoy the photos :

The Donzi has the Atlantic City Skyline in the background. Same one appearing in the latest Geico Commercial ...

That's great Tim, good to see everyone out together! Is that Charlie's new Statement CC?

We had a fun-run on Saturday. It was a last minute fun-run and there were 42 boats counted at the lunch stop.

Sorry to hear about the rough season. I've had one of my best in a number of years. Some great boating down here!

Nice Shots Tim!

The ones of my boat with AC in the back ground almost look unreal like they were photoshopped together. Def. gonna order up a couple shots!
