Ok, my boneheaded move of the weekend was...... driving off with my big Danforth anchor still attached to the bow ring.
Anyway, heard two big bang noises before I realized and backed off the throttle. Luckily I only had the short rode attached, and it didn't get to my drive.
Took some good chunks out of the gel in about 4-5 spots. I don't think any of the spots are structurally damaged, but it is down to the glass.
I was just going to grind them out a bit, resin, and touch up (all stuff I have on hand), or should I go with a gel product that's already coloured?
Thx!

pending how deep they are you'll really want the final surface to be gel if ya can. Even if its not a perfect match your better off with gel. I usually do the bulk of the repair with vinylester (or poly is ya want) and West Systems 404. I just clean up the chip with a small ball bit on a die grinder and do the fill then let it cure. Sand it back and do the gel touch up. Sounds like small repairs so ya might get away with a cheapy gravity feed gun with the tip drilled out a bit. what color is it?
