where can i buy some carbon fiber panels to make dash panels

McMaster-Carr.com has some, but will put a dent in the check book.

eBay.com is probably the best spot to get it for the lowes price, about $40 for 24"x12". I found larger pieces on there as well. Search " carbon fiber panel "

is there a better product to make dash panels out of?

1/8-1/4" plastic sheet. They come in every color under the rainbow. EZ to cut and work with. Just a jig saw, drill, and the right size hole saw for your gauges.

where is a good place to buy

Probably McMaster-Carr or eBay. But if you have a home depot or a place like that close to home you might be able to find some there also. But I'm guessing if they have it, it would only be in white or black. I'll look up a web page quick.

Look at mcmaster.com , part # 2898K17 = 1/8" thick $16 , 2898K19 = 1/4" thick $27. Color Opaque White, size 24"X24" . They also have different sizes.

ebay search for something like plastic sheet white, ABS plastic sheet, ect.
