Does anyone know anything about the Gm mobile hit spot. I've heard about it but the dealers locally have no idea what I'm talking about

Sadly and unfortunately that is all too common with dealers and exactly why I stopped working for them. I am a GM tech but the dealer network is so lame that it is any wonder vehicles can even get sold. Service is worse!!! So sad!!!

Other name plates are better with their new technology because they know those are strong selling points.


I think the hot spot capability is supposed to be up to 6 devices from what I was reading. I want this in my truck so I'm just going to replace my navigation and radio system with one that has it; no stupid dealers needed that way.

Most smartphones today offer a mobile hot spot feature. I would think it would be easier to use a device you are already carrying anyway, IMO

This is for many company trucks for the guys that long haul and are gone for weeks at a time. Makes it nice as I can get a Bol scanned and emailed to me onthe spot and get our funds quicker. I don't wanna buy them all phones and mobile hit spot feature plan. Was thinking of gettin the wireless cards for the laptops too. I use mobile hot spot on my phone and I love it
