Difference between '97 through 2000 model Slingshots?
I am looking at buying a '97 388 with a pair of 500 efi's. The boat is really clean and well kept but a little older than I wanted.
What are the differences through the years in construction and layup, weight, etc?

Very nice looking boat! I don't believe there is any change in the boats till 2003 in which Hustler changed something with the stringer or notch transom, not exactly sure but suppose to help with settling the boat down at speeds greater than 90 mph. Call Joe or John at the factory they are very good to talk to.

I was told that the way the dash pods are bolted,the interior and front lounge has the pleats/wrinkles.that windscreen supports mine doesn't.prob 97-99 then some had newer interiors late 99 and 2001 started 500efis.I believe the hulls are the same up to say 2003+ like NEVERSATISFIED said
