Hello guys and how are you. I have three 1000hp motors that are almost identical... two blowers are identical and the third (center motor) is not.
The first pictures below are of the Center motor and the last is the starboard motor. I am upgrading the carbs to a Demon 825 inline set up and noticed that the bolt pattern on the top of the blowers are different. The Center motor fits perfectly to the "V" adapter and bolts right up. The other two blowers have a longer top opening so I am thinking they are larger blowers??... I measured all of the cases and came up with a 17" case length. Pretend that I took the entire blower apart ... then measured the length... there is your 17 inches.
Any help is appreciated guys and thank you!!!

Is there anyway to officially tell? I cannot find any markings on them anywhere. I have two different blowers in the pictures above but the cases seem to be the same length? The main difference being the opening at the top of the blower.

Correct, also if you are running Merc distributors Just make sure to leave out the 1 screw for the distributor cap that ends up under the blower or you will either have to remove the blower or break the cap to remove it.
