Default How do you bypass the VP 4 digit startup code?

Need some advice guys.
I just bought a boat with two 2007 Volvo Penta 8.1 GXi engines.
The engines will need work.

When I have the engines out of the boat on a test stand, how do I bypass the VP 4 digit startup code for engine starting?
Is it even possible?

If it was a 10 pin 350 chev, I'd be fine.

So who knows who to hotwire a Volvo Penta GXi setup with push button code starting?
Please share.

If you believe this info should remain confindential for any reason, please PM me the information.

Thanks in advance.

think you need to get hold of VP dealer, have bill of sale and engine serial numbers. thats what we had to do for skinautik/PCM engine with similar setup.

That makes sense.
I figured an ECU reprogram would be required.
But I was just hoping I could avoid it.
