Default Diff between 36 spectra-35 Motion?

Looking to buy a cat. I have seen the motion and the spectra. Look similar with similar performance. Any help on which one to buy. Is it just brand preference? There are several on here that are nicely priced. 36 Tsunami with 525 for 49k is a deal I believe. Any info? Thanks in advance.

Not a bad price on it. Dont think it has a trailer. The older 36's are only worth 50-70k

I know Motion has changed hands throughout the years, not sure if the quality changed. Great boat though, the 25 and 30 as well. If Jay built it (1990-2006ish) its an awesome boat (Spectre)

Are they 525 EFI, or 525SC's?

How does the 36 Spectre and 35 Motion run against each other? Rough water? One better? I have always had a V and would like a cat. Both fall into my budget price wise and I have insurance secured. I have heard the Motion runs better in the rough due to the tunnel. I was told by a Spectre owner the tunnel at the transom will slap if not going fast enough. Any truth to this? How would either boat handle the water compared to a 33 Powerplay? Better? As good? Not as good?

Sorry for the hijack and questions but I saw the thread and couldn't resist because I dig both and can't afford a Skater.

It's a good boat. The owner passed away earlier this summer. I think the family is just trying to unload things. Boat was always taken care of.
