Looks like you were into testing, I was thinking about Maximus and was going to ask if anybody was running them on a deep v hull (formula 311) any notes or performance feedback?
I am running Bravo 24 and was thinking about stepping up to Bravo 26's or Mirage 27's however looking at the mercury website, Maximus 24are supposed to equal bravo 26?(I assume less slip) Have not heard to much about the Maximus props except from the mercury website.
any info would be helpful.
Thanks
Larry

Yes sir on the testing. We were running them on a 35' center console fishing boat with twin 300 outboards and realistically there just wasn't enough HP to make these things perform like we wanted on that hull. The low and mid range was great but they just weren't a fit for the boat. As for speed boats I'm afraid I can't offer much help.

you might try screamandfly.com ,
usually I/O speed boats running those kind of props (surfacing) would be running much higher pitch,, outboard speed boats turn higher rpm and can use smaller pitch 5 and six bladers
