I have a 2001 Donzi 38ZX Daytona with HP500 EFI's and Bravo 1's with stand off boxes..
Looking to refresh the engines and upgrade power with Whipple kits. I'm thinking of going this way because, from what I have read, they are a clean looking installation and are set up pretty close out of the box. Other suggestions would be welcome.
I am a little more concerned with which way to go with the drive upgrade. I am thinking IMCO scx's or Arneson's Bravo conversion kit.
I like the Arneson's for the possible speed increase, not loss, but am a little worried about difficulty setting the boat up with them and knowing before hand that I will get enough bow lift.
If I go with the SCX's can I reuse my existing steering, stand off boxes etc.
Looking for input, before I pull the trigger, especially from anyone who has done this on a similar Donzi.
