How are these in general? Are the older style bajas on the same quality level as the newer styles. Anyone have know about this on?

I am going to look at it, although I feel the price is high.

Good boat overall. I don't think it is priced too based on all new interior, updated graphics etc. The older boats were better built than the later ones.

1996..... It a Brunswick boat. Same people that make bowling pins.....
In October of 1995, Baja Boats became the sole property of Brunswick/Sea-Ray Division.
Over all it looks pretty clean/straight. Clean boats are hard to come by, but I agree $38k+ seems a little high for a 96'.
Before you buy or make a offer make sure to get a compression test and leak down test preformed, or at least a contract stating offer stands as long as engine test good. With 15 year old engines, just make sure you know what your getting into....

I'm sure I've seen that boat before but don't remember who's it was or where on the lake it was.
It showed well tied off looking at it from the side.
I do believe it's priced a bit high, I'd guess 30k+- on the trailer would be ACV.
One thing I noticed was the 4 bolsters, I hate mine in that configuration, and am working on taking 2 out and replacing the rear bench with a U-shaped bench with entertainment center that was offered as an option on the 38's.
My cockpit is to crowded for me with all 4 and I'd bet that the 32 would feel tight too.
All in all a great looking low hours boat.
See ya,
Kelly

This one was bad. Floor was rotten around the acess panels, transom was rotten, paint was poorly done, and the gel was coming off of the bottom in numerous spots showing the poly putty under it. I don't think the guy knew about the transom because he mouth was wide open like in shock. He said he had traded a newer 25 ol for it.

Knocking, sound will change, like knocking on a soild wood door to a hollow core door. In this case the glass had already pulled away from the wood so that made it easy to tell also. I am in no way a expert and don't claim to be this was just so bad I could tell myself.
