water pressure
#2
I have mine plumbed in the front of the intake cross overs next to the t-stat opening.
Running IMCO lowers. I see 6-10psi at crusing speeds and peaks at 15-17psi @ WOT(100-105mph).
I would say keep the pressure under 20psi, they say too much PSI can overwelm engine gaskets, I guess thats possible. Automotive radiator caps are 16psi, so thats a good reference.
I had a 5/8 inch hose feeding my intercoolers and my pressure was at least 5psi lower then it is now. I reduced the intercooler feed hose to 1/2in and pressures fell right into place.
Moroso makes t-stat restrictor plates which can aid in tuning your pressures.
Runnig a cat and I'm guessing higher speeds, you may need a way to lower your pressures, and not raise them like I did.
Hope this helps.
