FMO announces it's revised 2012 / 13 event schedule
On Sunday Oct 7th your FMO board of directors got together on club business and put the finishing touches to the 2012 / 13 season schedule. Please read it carefully as there is one change of date. The traditional New Years day run has been moved to the Saturday between Christmas and New Years, Dec 29th. The board discussed this at length and decided it should be tried this year. We also have added 2 new destinations to this seasons schedule.

Sat Oct 6th, 2012 Fun run to Naples Bay Resort, Naples and Keewaydin Island after http://www.naplesbayresort.com/marina/
Sat Nov 24th, 2012 to Burnt Store Marina and Porto Bello Restaurant with return through the Matlacha channel - Please note that this is the first of two designated fund raising events that FMO holds each season. We will be playing Blackjack poker at Burnt Store as part of our fund raising activities. http://www.burntstoremarina.com/portobello.htm
Sat. Dec 29th, 2012 Holiday Season fun run to C.J.'s on the Bay, Esplanade Marina at Marco Island - Please note the date change from Jan1st. http://www.cjsonthebay.com/restaurants.php?rid=4
Fri / Sat / Sun Jan 25 to 27, 2013 - Second annual overnight run to Hyatt, Sarasota with Friday and Saturday departures. Group returns to Cape Coral / Ft Myers Sunday. Additional detail can be found here: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/f...-sarasota.html
Sat. March 2nd, 2013 - to Laishley Crab House at Punta Gorda ( new destination ) http://www.laishleycrabhouse.com This event is the second designated FMO fund raising event of the season.
Sat March 30th, 2013 Season finale Easter weekend - Beach party / picnic at Cayo Costa after a lunch / beverage stop at Barnacle Phil's ( new destination ) http://barnaclephilsrestaurant.wordpress.com
Notes:
1) All events meet and depart from the south side of the Sanibel Bridge at 11:00 AM other than the Sarasota departures which are at 10 AM.
2) Roll call and details of each event are sent out to the membership by e mail approximately 10 days prior to the event date. Details are also posted on FMO's Facebook page and on an event thread in our forum on OSO.
