Found it wile searching eBay. 1999 Cutter, made in canada. I cant find any info in them. I like it!! 30', stepped hull, and single engine. (ez maintenance what I like), price is right. When It is time to upgrade i might have to look for one. It is the biggest single engine I have seen.

Any one have any more info on them? Seen any others for sale?

I never heard of them. If you like it, that's what is important.

Not many made. I been in 2 of them. They are junk. the one had something like a stringer and or delamination problem protruding out on the bottom of the hull sides.

Twin motor apps are very hard to work on or see anything in the engine compartment, very tight fit. Also many years ago I talked to the owner of Grew in Canada. Nice guy but the 30 not so nice after it had sometime on them from the 2 I was in.

This one is in my backyard so mabe will check it to see what the quality is. The owner of Grew told me he took a Fountain and some other boat, made his boat & design based of them. Also said a single motor app was by far a better running boat than the twin (not speed wise) but handling because of the balance and they tried to play (add) flotation in the stern on the twin motor app to make it better on a few models. Looks like someone has done a ignition swap over and a few other things to this motor. Anyways FYI

Ya I saw the ing swap too. From the pics the engineering looks ok. Stepped hull, looks to be a 24 degree V. Cuddy looks like a nice lay out with the support mid way, almost looks like some thing out of a cig or another offshore. The light fixtures are fugly looking tho. They should be on the out side of a house or something.

Anchor door on the bow, twin hatch windows in cuddy, twin ram tabs, grab handles off the swim deck (I love mine on by BAJA). Geab handles for the passengers look to be in a good place. The intakes fot the engine bay are nice and smooth (like a early 2000's baja). Over all the hull looks smooth.

Single engine is nice to see on a 30'+ (for me, ez to maintenance it) plus you get the added length. The beam is skinny tho, 7'8"!!!

Yeah its a Grew, made in Owen Sound Ontario, pass the factory on the way to the wifes fam cottage. Company has been around for ages, mostly 16/18 ft runabouts, I m very sure that 30 is the biggest boat they ever made. I met the owner too, nice guy. Was past the factory last weekend, a few scattered vehicles around, not like the old days.

Forgot back when this boat came out it was advertised as a Challenger by Cutter of Canada inwhich was owned by Grew. I have the brochure on it packed away somewhere from that time period plus they made a 26 or a 24 footer if I remmeber correctly , single motor app only

Challenger XLX, cutter must be the old name or something. Now I see it on there site.

I still dont see any out there for sale or even photos of there performance style boats. They must have only made a couple over the last 10-15 years or there all in Canada and not in the U.S.
