I am on a mission to find my first cat. I come from the deep v side, but I am now convinced that a cat is the only way to go. I just wanted to see if you guys new anything about this boat in the classifieds:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o19878-en.html
I am also looking a 1997 32 skater with 600sc carbed. I know the resale could be better on the skater, but I think the extra 4' and extra beam will be better for running in the gulf. I am not sure about having a big carbed motor either. I am not that familiar with carb motors and I am concerned it would be a PIA.
What do you professionals think, good, bad or ugly. I thank you in advance for your help.

Do a road trip and look at the boats. Have them take you out for a ride. Get a survey on the one you decided on. I have a boat with 2 teague 800efi and love the motors. Don't let it bother you about being for sale for a long time.

Used to be owned by Jeff (Three Days Only) on the boards.
I haven't seen the boat since about 2006 but saw it often in that era. Was immaculate then. Only thing wrong with it in those days was a bunch of Gray Goose spilled in it
36' Spectre is a sweet boat!
