Default Boat Lift U.S.

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with this brand of boat lift? Came across this on youtube...

Anyone familiar with them?

I don't have the same model lift used in the video, but I did build my boat house lift out of their parts, 3 years and so far no issues.

Be careful, their gearboxes are junk and the lifts are made pretty cheap. I would probably cut the load rating a 1/3.

from the looks of that video that lift looked to be over loaded,,too much weight forward on the lift causing the forward cable to snap..those types of lifts i would go over kill on the lifts capacity for those reasons..

Put ours in back in 04, no issues whatsoever. Did go all stainless cables, and overkill is always a good idea. Keep it greased regularly in all the zirks. Rich
