I tried to buy them used for 3 years without any success. At the auctions they would bid up to near new cost so I finally gave up and bought them new from Manning trailer at 2/3 the cost of the Yardarms. Now we find ourselves using them just about every day and don't know how we got anything done without them.

Got a link for those? I have been debating on purchasing a set myself. I bought a forklift last month and next is ether a set of these or a super duty gantry crane. Kinda leaning toward the gantry but do take note of Brians statement above.

His single price is $1299.00. I paid $4000.00 for 4 of them with the straight and 8" drop arms. If you are going to buy them make sure you get the drop arms you will use them for 50% of the boats you lift. For the cat I lift it off the trailer with the straight arms and then block the boat 1 at a time to change to the drop arms then set it on the dollies.
