Default Rebuilding 98 Mercruiser 350 Main and rod Bearing ?'s

Im in the process of rebuilding a 1998 Mercruiser 350. Im a GM trained tech so the internals to any SBC are not an issue.

Ive been parts shopping lately as this is a when I have time rebuild.
Im curious about the difference between "marine" and automotive bearings. I can get a full set of clevite main bearings for a silverado for under $30 where as the Mercruiser or Sierra bearings are nearly $100. Is there a difference?

Im aware of the head gaskets being different and will be using marine parts.

Any input would be helpful.

the bearings are the same, mercury usually doubles, and sometimes triples the price of parts.

Thanks for the info, I was all but certain they would be the same but wanted to get a second opinion.

Anything that has marine stamped on it always cost way to much for no other reason but it says marine use.
