center tip of the nose cone to the center of the prop shaft..make sure your dead nuts on or it will effect handling. also make sure you completely fill the nose cone with epoxy so water cant get in their so it can freeze and crack off..

Find a Lathe machine that you may use for a while ,and set the lower unit with its propellor shaft in the clamp.
Most nosecone,s have a sharp point in front of the bullet ,try to set the point of the cone exactly in the center from the lathe machine ,now when your ready with sanding the lower and inside cone, set it all up,,fill the inside cone with epoxy paste and let it cure.
After curing you can tack weld the cone to the lower using 1 1/2 inch welds left and right ,and cool the cone and lower after each weld to take the heat away from the epoxy that holds the cone in place .
