Default LS9 motors in a skater

LS9 motors in a skater what a great idea I know rik I should of went with Arnesons but I am very happy with my x powers and I did give up speed for reliability but I couldn't be happier and like said before the fuel economy is awesome this 5 year project was well worth it and I'm really excited to see poeple starting to see the light good luck with them

are you keeping the blocks "stock" this time or are you re-sleeving them again?

It should be a good boat. I think it should have a good amount of torque being blown (I don't honestly know what the LS9 is vs any of the other LS motors) and the boat should have a good speed range as well. With Louie's boat and this one both being widened it will be interesting to see the benefit of that feature alone. If the rpm level is good (they are not going to spin no 7K) they should live as well. I know some have tried the LS? 427" motors and found they don't live long above 7kish in a boat, but these Cadillac engines have a different block I'm told and of course the blower so if they can run 6500 intermittently I would be VERY happy with the speed potential.

+ these engines appear to have a very small envelop so it should be a bit easier to wiggle these into the boat over the bbc.

What is your rigged weight Jim? I know Dale's is right at 6,850 lbs.
