I am supposed to have a "spy photo" of the test boat sometime today. I will post it here, as well as in the story, when I receive it.

That's not something Ilmor is ready to discuss at this point. However, when they are you can be sure we'll provide an update to this story.

The "spy photo" is inserted in the story. For some reason, I can't seem to get it to upload here, but at least it's in the story now.

Is it just me or is the remote oil filter housing cupped up on the sides to help contain the oil coming out of the filter when you remove it during an oil change?

Can't wait to see these engine out in the real world. At least Ilmor is waiting until they think that they are 100% ready instead of releasing them early.

Yikes! You're right. That's a 30-foot Eliminator Eagle not a Daytona cat. I didn't look at the picture that closely.

Sorry for the confusion my error may have caused.

Where does the oil go in the cup? Or does it just hold the mess until the first wave?

Curious why tq numbers are rarely talked about in production engines? Wonder how the tq specs of this engine compare to 525 efi?
