Default B1 Prop hubs

Should the hubs on B1 props be welded in? If so, why? Added strength? Thanks.

If you are using a solid hub, I would see no benefit in doing so.

Square bore FloTorq 2 hub kits do not require welding.
They can't go anywhere.

The actual casting you have may determine a different response.

Thanks Brett, I appreciate your response. They are actually 4 blade 28 P B1's that you labbed up for me 2 years ago... I need to send them back to you to get touched up though and I sure could use a spare set! Thanks - Mark

No problem. I'm sure your hubs are fine. Once the prop nut is tightened, the whole assembly is one package that can not move.

Send them anytime for touch up and I'll call you to discuss them.
