Default Mistress Center Console

Has anyone converted a mistress or any older Cig into a Center Console?
How about any other closed Deck?

I thought long and hard about it a year ago. My biggest reason for not doing it was that I would have had to somehow raise the cockpit floor becase the cockpit was going to be too deep for fishing. Theres a few guys over on the hull truth that have taken older 38 Scarabs and succesfully converted them to a CC with diesels.

Look out there for any Rabco 35's They were made from the 35 Mistress mold by Randy Rabe who was a very good racer back in the day. The boats were made in St Petersburg. His son is on the Scream & Fly board all the time.

I have converted my 35' 1976 Awesome into a 28' center console. I had a thread posted under Cigarette in the forums, a year ago. I am almost ready to gelcoat the new topsides and paint the outside sides. Teak floors then go in. I am a year behind schedule as I have just been to busy. All work is either vinylester or epoxy depending on location. New dry weight before power and rigging is 3,300 lbs. My email is [email protected] if you need to contact me.

I was thinking of doing something similar to the Apache like in this thread.

Is the Orange boat a Factory Boat or a Custom Redo?
