Default VIDEO: Teague/AMSOIL Inboard Endurance attacks the Parker 300 Enduro

http://youtu.be/PDvrSY5BIFw

Edit of the first leg of the Parker Enduro, a 300 mile endurance race held on the Colorado River.

We were setting a blistering pace, but a broken battery and subsequent ignition issues from the shorting shut us down about halfway through the race.

The boat is a 20ft 7 degree shallow V with a 1400 Horsepower TCM engine.

Enjoy!

hah! Thanks I think we are just dumb more than brave...

The left pedal levers down the large cav plates on the back of the boat. It is called a "down" pedal because it kicks the nose down and counteracts engine/prop lift during acceleration. It is a manual spring loaded pedal and takes at least 50lbs of leg pressure to operate.

Balls made of Titanium is more like it. Talk about flying on water, that was a perfect example. Great video.

Amazing race and one of the best places on the planet to see wicked I/O's and inboards. Looked like a 20' Stoker??
Unfortunately they almost always break before finishing and as in this year the race was won by team War Canoe in a clip on.
I've been very close to having a drivers seat for that race a few times but our team always seems to hit one too many hurdles along the way.
