HIN look up?

I was wondering what the best site is to look up a boats hin #?? I was looking to find out past owners, locations, ETC.

If its documented you can search by "name" or "official CG number. Not sure if its just state registered.

it isn't like carfax. you can find who made it, but not whole vehicle history like a car.

if it was documented you can at least find a name, and what city it was documented in. Then google away...
