Please drop a post just to let us know you are ok. I know alot of you are out of power or can't access right now but, i am sure we all want to know your ok.

We're all OK. I live just south of the Mason Dixon Line and the storm was not as bad here as we thought it was going to be. A few family and friends are without power but there were no injuries or damage to property. If we can do anything for people in need, particuliarly those on the Jersey Shore, let us know. We'll be making a contribution to disaster relief and urge all to do the same.

I'm safe, my house is destroyed, 4' of water inside. After sitting out most of this year, I was hoping to make a comeback next year. I most likely will not race at all.
Anyone want to buy a 24' Sunsation?
This storm lived up to it's hype.

Everyone from the Maxed Out Team made out ok as well. Like Ray said, just a lot of rain and high winds. If any of our OPA family needs to borrow a generator I have one that can be had for as long as you need it!! Just call me or email me!! Also if any OPA family needs help let me know, the team has talked about coming up your way for a weekend to lend a hand to anyone that needs it!

About what John S. said (Maxed Out). I also have a generator that I can lend out. Plus I could come up and lend a hand. Anything anybody else needs send a PM or post and we'll see what we can do. Could bring some gas, food, etc. If anybody gets to see the guys who can't get online or don't have phone service let them know we are willing to help.

Hey Bob sorry to hear (read) bout your loss. I cant even imagine the despair youre feeling. I cry like a baby when my power goes out for an hour. My best to all you guys down there. I wish i could say look at the bright side, but im not sure there is one. Other than you and your family still have your lives and each other. Im sure some others will take advantage of the storm. I would bet You see a few new race boats, toys and haulers next year.

On a personal note, my mom is just still waiting on electricity and my sis' house took on about 4'-5' of flood water.


I have spoke with many. Smitty had about 6' of water in house, Val's garage got flooded, Anthony's house has been completely taken by Sandy. All are in good health, just a lot to pick up.

We live 1 street over from Anthony and lost just about every thing also. It looks like a war zone. the front wall to our house was pushed in by a 4 foot wave and destroyed everything. we even lost the box truck full of our belongings we rented to evacuate with when it got swamped and almost floated away. My 31 sonic is hanging from the out drives off our dock and is almost totally sunk now. Even lost most off our race gear and the GPS which I took home from Florida to have sent out for repair. The good news is we are all safe and sound our kids Zach and Abby were helping with the demolition and **** today and they want to know when they're getting paid! Go figure! Anyway were just glad to be alive and we will rebuild .
On a side note a giant thank you to our local police and fire departments. The police have been none stop on patrol all day and night stopping the scum bag looters every night in our neighbor hood.
