Donated last night and again this morning.
To those in the NE and other effected area's, I've gone through several storms in Florida including Andrew. It sucks to lose everything but I can tell you that this to will pass and the entire country will be stronger for it. When disaster happens thats caused by man, you just want revenge and to hurt the bastards responsible in every way possible (9-11). But when disaster happenes thats an act of God, everyone pulls together and plows their way through it. End result; better prep, more stringent codes, better recovery plans, better mitigation.
I'm in construction and spent several years studying and dealing with the effects of these kinds of storms. I also have managed millions in repair and recovery efforts for many storms. If there is anything I can do to help any of my OSO brothers (or anyone else), please do not hesitate to PM me. Otherwise, be careful, tap resources that are less effected and never pay any construction people up front. A lot of vultures are about to swarm the area.
God bless you all and good luck!!
