if there is a side to side play in the drives it will get dangerous in this boat , you can have the Gimble Ring rebuilt and a new pin would take care of that , while you are there you might want to change bearings and bellows.

JR Marine can rebuild those , actually they would exchange your for rebuilt ones.

I tell you I find the nova a very fast boat with beautiful modern lines.it can reach 70 mph in a heart beat with BBC's, I used it for 20 hours with these power and it was amazing.
Now if you have side to side play in the drives then it could be really dangerous,I agree 100%. But other than that... There was a guy in Oso.com that had twin 600hp on his nova 26 ST and hit over 90mph
