A new "super single" rear wheel like the michelin X-one or goodyear xtra wide?

Im coming up on a tire replacement and am considering switching.

I thought I read where some of the super singles had trouble on the launch ramps, if it's a truck you plan on trailering the boat with. Something about them just spinning when they got wet. It was on this site.

I wont be doing a lot of ramp duty with my RV- pickup yes RV no.

Im looking to save a little $$ on MPG with the motorhome as well as turn a bit easier.
