Has anybody tried these yet? I was thinking about selling my Hero to buy the newest one but not sure if it's worth it, if video quality is the same etc...

From what i read they seam worth it but I too just have the Hero and would like to hear from someone that has the new one.

They announced it 2 days after I bought the hero 2 motorsports... Talk about bad timing... But oh well I will rock that for a while... It does the job.

If you have the first one it will be worth the upgrade, they have made a ton of improvements over the hero2... Or you could take advantage of the hero2 price going down and upgrade to one of those... But how good can HD video really get?

The camera has a few more features, allows the use of a remote, wifi/ blue tooth. I don't see it being worth the upgrade if you have a HD pro now, unless you need to have the remote, some more ginger bread. In a few months they will be cheaper any how. Just my op.
